Day 1 – 2: Schedule Flight to Bwindi Impenetrable

Fly from Entebbe to the Eastern side Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Upon arrival you will embark on your scenic en-route drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for overnight at Broad Bill Forest Camp on Full Board basis.

Next day after an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the Park headquarters for registration and joining others for a briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your Gorilla Trek. The Gorillas you will track belong to one of nine habituated family groups who can tolerate the presence of humans for a brief period every day. Your trek will be an exciting journey along forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes and bamboo before you eventually reach the Gorillas’ habitat.

The time taken to track the Gorillas can take as little as 2 hours to as much as 7 hours before one returns! Once the Gorillas have been located, your group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them. Coming face-to-face with a Mountain Gorilla is a truly humbling and emotional experience.

Day 3: Drive to Entebbe/Kampala or Entebbe Airport

After your breakfast, you will be transferred to the nearest airstrip for a schedule flight to Entebbe. Upon arrival our team will bid you farewell as you continue with on wards travel arrangements.
