Swara plain (Bike in the wild)
Bike in the wild Swara Plains Wildlife Sanctuary which lies on a 20,000 acre fenced land opposite the rugged Lukenya Hill. Amongst the glade of shady Yellow Fever Trees and vast grassland, the sanctuary hosts a resident population of over 3,000 game animals and over 280 identified bird species. Cycling in Swara Plains is a total Bicycle Safari! Bike in the Wild along with herds of zebras, tall towering giraffes, and marvel at the long-legged, swift Maasai ostriches that dot the vast plains. The wildebeests, out of curiosity, will either stare at you blankly or try to outrun you on some sections of the trails. Antelopes (Swara in Swahili) own this place, so let’s have you mingle among the brown agile “athletes” of the plains. Luckily, there are no carnivores to be wary off.
