Your safari journey begins as you enplane to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi. Meet and greet, transfer to a city hotel for overnight stay.
Next day begin with a visit to the Shedrick Elephant Orphanage, Lunch at a city restaurant then spent you afternoon at the Giraffe Center.
Sumptuous breakfast is served at the city hotel followed by check out. We will transfer you to Wilson Airport for your schedule flight to Samburu National Reserve. Samburu Reserve is a unique wildlife conservation haven famous for an abundance of rare species of animals such as the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx. The reserve is also home to a population of close to 900 Elephants and the best location in Kenya to spot Leopards. Wild dog sightings are also a common attraction to this unique protected area and Birdlife is abundant with over 450 recorded species.
Elephant Bedroom Camp will set tone for our next 2 nights, intimate tented camp with simplistic elegance, luxury and style providing an astonishing safari experience. 14 spacious tents have rustic and colourful African touches, offering all the comforts; including a private plunge pool on the deck, hot and cold running water, electricity (and complimentary herbal shower and bath products.) The lounge and dining area is decorated with vibrant safari style, its soft intimate lighting assuring that this is the ultimate place to relax in between exciting game drives.
Sumptuous breakfast is served at the camp followed by check out. We will transfer you to the nearest airstrip to catch your scheduled flight to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Its tawny, wildlife-stuffed savannahs are familiar to anyone who has watched nature documentaries. Reliable rains and plentiful vegetation underpin this extraordinary ecosystem and the millions of herbivores it supports. Wildebeest, zebras, impalas, elephants, Masai giraffes and several species of gazelle all call the Mara home. This vast concentration of game accounts for high predator numbers, including cheetahs, leopards and the highest lion densities in the world.
Mara Ngenche Safari Camp will play host for our next 2 nights. In a spectacular location in the heart of the Masai Mara, lies this small, intimate, luxurious and elegant Camp. Well hidden in the beautiful panaroma of riverine forest, the Camp offers superb views over the confluence of the Mara and Talek Rivers Overlooking a hippo pool that is always busy with these beautiful Large animals with crocodiles always in close proximity.
Sumptuous breakfast is served at the camp and check out; en route game drive transfer to the nearest airstrip will follow to catch your flight via Nairobi to Entebbe Uganda with overnight stay at Kampala Serena.
Sumptuous breakfast is served at the city hotel and transfer to Entebbe for your morning scheduled flight to Kihihi airstrip in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Home to almost half the world’s surviving mountain gorillas, the World Heritage–listed Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is one of East Africa’s most famous national parks. Set over 331 sq km of improbably steep mountain rainforest, the park is home to an estimated 340 gorillas: undoubtedly Uganda’s biggest tourist drawcard.
Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge will be our spot for the next 2 nights entirely eco-friendly. Its design is inspired and built with the natural material locally sourced within the communities that surround the lodge. Next day we begin making our way through forest of trailing vines, trilling birds calls, giant lobelia and mossy hagenia trees walking toward an encounter with one of the park’s families of the mountain gorillas; no more than eight people are allowed to visit any given family for more than an hour each day.
A sumptuous breakfast is served at the lodge; you will be transferred by road to the nearest airstrip for your scheduled flight via Entebbe, Uganda to Nairobi. You will be met by our concierge team who will bid you farewell as you enplane back home.
