Day 1: Nairobi City

Welcome to Kenya, you will be met upon arrival at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our safari representative. Thereafter you will be transferred to your city hotel irrespective of the airline and time of arrival.

Day 2 – 3: Samburu Game Reserve

Early morning breakfast will be served at the city hotel, followed by safari de-brief by our concierge, thereafter depart by road to Samburu Game Reserve. The reserve has retained its natural serene and quiet feeling. Besides the numerous wildlife found in this game reserve, over 350 different species of birds have been recorded in the reserve. You will arrive at the camp in time for lunch, which is strategically located overlooking the Uaso Nyiro River.

It cuts through the reserve drawing a big population of wild animals to the reserve for easier viewing. The river is bustled with lots of activities from its huge population of Nile crocodile to elephant’s bath. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing in the reserve, famous for its rare species of fauna known as the ‘Samburu five’ and vast, open landscapes.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy also known as (Sweetwater’s Game Reserve) after breakfast. It’s the only place in the world where you can find two of the world remaining Northern White Rhino’s after the death of “Nola” in San Diego Zoo in November 2015 and Sudan in Kenya March 2018. It’s also the only place in Kenya to find chimpanzees, in the sanctuary established to rehabilitate animals rescued from the black market by Dr. Jane Goodall. Other wild animals found within the conservancy include; the zebra, lion, elephants, Grant’s gazelle, oryx, eland, baboon, and several species of birds.

Later you exit the conservancy and proceed by road to Aberdare Country Club where you will enjoy every moment of being within 1300 acres of pristine forest and wild gardens on the slope of Mweiga Hill. Several Optional activities can be booked from the reservation which includes; Horseback riding, playing golf, nature walks, tennis, sundowners etc.

Day 5 – 6: Lake Nakuru National Park and Lake Bogoria

After breakfast, check out proceed by road to Lake Nakuru National Park. The Lake is renowned as a bird sanctuary with over 400 bird species at times, there can be up to two million greater and lesser flamingoes and tens of thousands of other birds hence the park is referred to as the ‘Birds Paradise. It’s a rhino sanctuary as well with an excellent wildlife viewing. You will arrive at the lodge which is stylishly designed to provide the ideal safari experience where comfort, luxury, and outstanding personal service combine naturally with the beautiful wilderness in time for lunch. You will depart for an afternoon game viewing in the park any time from 16:00 hrs.

The landscape includes areas of marsh, grasslands alternating with rocky cliffs and outcrops, stretches of acacia woodland and rocky hillsides covered with a Euphorbia forest on the eastern perimeter. Large animals strive in the dry land surrounding the lake such as the endangered Rothschild giraffe, Cape buffaloes, waterbucks, gazelles, leopard, and several species of primates can be spotted as well in the park.

Next day depart with picnic lunch for Lake Bogoria; It’s a shallow alkaline lake, hence favorable home for the lesser flamingoes. Lake Bogoria is considered to be one of the most beautiful lakes in Kenya; this is contributed by, the close-up hot springs and geysers that pour boiling water into the lake. The hot springs are ideal for bathing and are excellent natural spas for the visitors. It’s a magnificent lake because of the beautiful light pink flamingos feeding on algae, created from their droppings mixed up in the warm alkaline waters and plankton or when they are taking off on the lake, and far away the dramatic backdrop of the lake that displays a superb scenery of bluish hills populated with dry bush, grasslands and riverine forests of the Laikipia escarpment. Everything in and around Lake Bogoria conveys unrivaled scenery.

Day 7 & 8: Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, check out and depart by road to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, It’s one of the great wonders of the world in terms of animal migrations, As per ABC news “Good Morning America’s show”. It’s also considered as a “must see” by almost all visitors going on safari. It is on the “to do” list for many because the park is graced by a wide variety of unique and exquisite wildlife and birds. Game viewing en-route to the lodge followed by lunch. You will have some time to relax by the solar heated pool before you depart for an afternoon game viewing in the reserve.

The next day,morning and afternoon game viewing has been scheduled for you or you can decide to book an Optional balloon ride over the plains of the Masai Mara which takes you over the diverse habitats of the Masai Mara reserve; fly over the great Mara River, swamps, forests, wildlife & the African Savannah. The quiet, relaxing ride allows you to view an amazing assortment of wildlife from a unique bird’s-eye view. Surprise bush champagne breakfast is served on landing and you can decide to proceed on a game run or return back to the lodge.

Day 9: Depart for Nairobi

Breakfast will be served at the camp/lodge followed by check out; you will depart by road back to Nairobi with game viewing en-route. Upon arrival at the city, you will either be transferred to your Nairobi city hotel or straight to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international outbound departure flight back home.
